On May 10, the Interceptor crew attended the Human Rights Forum, endorsed by representatives of Sweden, Canada, Finland, Norway and Japan, at the Faculty of Social Sciences.

The main purpose of the informal gathering was to discuss and share common thoughts and goals about all three agenda items before tomorrow’s session. During the meeting, the debate between state representatives was mostly centered on the issue of Antarctica. The state’s views in respect of Antarctica as the area of the Common Heritage of Mankind still differ.

The gathering was attended by many state representatives and was as such a great opportunity for making new friendships and alliances. Members of the Alliance for Common Interest of Mankind, who highlight the importance of ending the division of the world countries and the need to create firm bases for the construction of the future better world, managed to obtain some new supporters on their way to success.

Participants of the meeting had also a great chance to taste some traditional desserts prepared by state representatives who organized the meeting.

The representative of Japan was glad to represent us the new Japan Corner (which is placed in the International Library) where you can find interesting information about their remarkably unique culture.
